Just how
fair
can a review be when you get free products, sent to you?

Ethics Statement

Over the past four years and hundreds of videos, I've built a relationship with a global community that I genuinely value. That relationship is built on trust, and these guidelines exist to protect it.

If I work with a brand, it's because I use and trust the product myself. All sponsored content is clearly disclosed. If I don't say a video is sponsored, it isn't.

My channel is not an extension of any brand's marketing department. A good partnership should be win-win-win: valuable for viewers, authentic for the brand, and sustainable for me.

How I Handle Products

Most of the equipment I review is purchased by me. Sometimes I rent, borrow, or accept products at no cost, and when that happens, it's always disclosed.

Free products never guarantee a positive review, or even a review at all. I only work with brands that understand and respect this.

Editorial Independence

  • I retain full creative control over what I make and how I make it.
  • Brands do not preview or approve my content.
  • My opinions are my own and are not influenced by sponsorships or free products.
  • I decide what gets covered and when. While I'm open to collaboration, no one can buy scheduling priority.

Business Practices

  • Receiving a free product does not create any obligation to make a video.
  • I work directly with established brands rather than anonymous resellers.
  • Whenever possible, I review retail versions of products. The same ones customers receive.
  • I aim to be accurate, fair, and well-researched in everything I publish.
  • Sponsorships do not include automatic promotion across my other platforms unless explicitly agreed.

Transparency

  • YouTube's "paid promotion" disclosure is used whenever a product was provided at no cost.
  • Videos may be shared, but not re-uploaded. They must link back to the original on my channel.
  • I don't guarantee views, engagement, or outcomes. Those depend on many factors beyond anyone's control.

This page exists so you can decide, for yourself, whether to trust me.

If you're a brand interested in working together, understanding these principles is step one.

You can also see what gear I actually use. Tools I work with regularly and can speak about from real experience.
